DOVER, MASSACHUSETTS

About the Project

Feet away from a nature trail, this 10-foot pondless waterfall fits right in with the natural scenery! With over 4’ of elevation change, we had the opportunity to use large machine-placed boulders and really make this feature feel like it's always been a part of the landscape. Given the close proximity to the woods, we also took advantage of the surroundings – collecting moss, repurposing a stump, and even harvesting a few weathered boulders from our client’s own yard to give this project a particularly home-cooked feel!

  • Originally installed for $14,660, we later came back to complete the space with a $4,990 landscaping and tree package that features some native plantings as well. Today whether it be the homeowners, a hiker passing by, or the local wildlife, these cascades provide beauty and sustenance to all living things in the vicinity.

This water feature received national recognition from Pond Trade Magazine in 2021 for being the best small water feature of the year!

IN OUR CLIENTS’ WORDS

“We asked for a water feature and got a work of art.
Jonathan is a true craftsman who takes great pride in his work. He took the time to get the placement of every rock and plant just right. He is also enthusiastic and easy to work with. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”
