Ledge-Top Spillway Bowls

About the Project
Protruding ledge on a client’s property always gives us pause. Bedrock has the tendency to impede construction, since it can permeate beneath the ground in ways that prevent us from digging. However, we had just enough room to install a shallow underground reservoir at this rocky property in Dover. Ultimately, the ledge ended up being a great element in this design – as it provides the perfect backdrop for these spillway bowls. Additionally, this location was very close to the house, which provides some amazing views and sounds from multiple rooms inside.
